Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How does the Parking Сloud solution work?
Answer: Sensors are installed on parking spaces that send information to the base station/LoRaWan network and from this network we pick up information to our parking information system. On the top of the parking information system there is a mobile application for drivers. Options to integrate our parking information system with other customers' IT systems are also possible.
How is the sensor installed?
Answer: We have two types of sensors, flashmount and surface mount. Our partners from Nwave have specified installation guides for each type of sensor that are proved by numerous installations. It is simple to install and configure a sensor, which takes about 10-20 minutes per sensor.
How do I know that the sensor is working after installation?
Answer: When you connect a sensor to your LoRaWan network or install and activate a base station you will start receiving signals from sensors. Before connecting to the network you can check sensor work using a special mobile application.
What if the sensor battery is uncharged?
Answer: Our battery has long lasting power, ~5 years long, however if the sensor battery is low, you have the option to change the battery.
What happens when sensors go missing?
Answer: We receive sensor signals a couple of times per day to show us the sensor health, so if we stop receiving these signals, after initial remote investigation a visit to the field is sometimes required to inspect the sensor with a special mobile application.
How does the mobile app work?
Answer: Our mobile application helps to find free parking spaces, so that users can find available parking lots, navigate to them and pay for their parking if integration with payment gateway is implemented.
