1. Real-time Accessibility Information: Smart parking solution can provide real-time accessibility information about availability of parking spaces designated for people with disabilities.
2. Reserved Parking Spaces: Through the smart parking solution, individuals with disabilities can reserve accessible parking spaces in advance. This eliminates the uncertainty of finding a suitable parking spot upon arrival, reducing stress and anxiety. 
3. Parking Space Monitoring:  Smart parking solutions utilize wireless sensors installed in parking lots to monitor the availability of accessible parking spaces.
4. Payment Integration: This feature eliminates the need for physical payment methods, such as cash or credit cards, which can be challenging for people with certain disabilities. By simplifying the payment process, the solution enhances convenience and independence.

Project description: 

The main idea of this project is to implement a comprehensive Parking Cloud Solution in cooperation with Lviv Startup School and Lviv Polytechnical University. The project aims to optimize and streamline the parking management process at Lviv Startup School, enhancing accessibility, convenience, and efficiency for all stakeholders involved.

Challenge:

• Implement parking automation solution for corporate parking to improve Startup School visitors and employee experience and improve efficiency of parking spaces usage
• Parking automation solution should be used as a demo stand of Smart parking solution for government institutions, companies and citizens of the city of Lviv for future roll out.
• Parking Cloud application data should be used not only by the owner, but also by various partners, for example, to control parking rules, to predict the demand for parking spaces, and to conduct scientific work for  Lviv Polytechnical University students
• Integration with payment system

Results:

The successful implementation of the Smart Parking Automation Solution at Lviv Startup School resulted in the following key achievements:

• Deployment of Smart Parking Sensors.

A total of 20 state-of-the-art smart parking flashmount sensors provided by Nwawe were installed in the parking lot. These sensors accurately detect parking space occupancy in real-time, enabling seamless data updates to the Parking Cloud application.

• Parking Cloud Application for Owners.

A comprehensive Parking Cloud application was developed, exclusively for parking owners and administrators. This user-friendly platform empowers them to efficiently manage parking data, monitor parking space usage, and access detailed analytics regarding parking occupancy and trends.

• Branded Android Mobile Application for Drivers.

For the convenience of drivers, a branded Android mobile application was created. This intuitive app supports the find-park-pay scenario, allowing users to easily locate available parking spaces in real-time through the integration of the smart parking sensors. Additionally, it enables users to reserve parking spaces in advance, enhancing the overall parking experience.

• Seamless Integration with Local Payment Gateway.

To streamline the parking fee payment process, the Smart Parking Automation Solution was seamlessly integrated with a trusted and secure local payment gateway. 

Overall, the Smart Parking Automation Solution significantly improved the parking experience for both visitors and employees at Lviv Startup School. Additionally, it paved the way for further collaborations with Lviv Polytechnical University and various partners, fostering innovation, research opportunities, and smart city initiatives in Lviv.
